Name: Gabriela Sneider
Title: Account Strategist | Project Manager
Hometown: San Diego, CA
LeaseLabs: Your title is Account Strategist/Project Manager, can you break down for us exactly what that entails? It sounds like it’s very all-encompassing.
Gabriela: Yes of course! I manage projects of all sorts for LeaseLabs. It runs the whole gamut of our products from websites, social media, SEO, blogs, you name it, I manage it! I coordinate all of our internal teams to make sure that we’re on target with our scheduled timelines and serve as a liaison between our designers and clients. The best way that I could describe my role is a ‘communicator’. Making sure that the clients' needs are met and that our designers have a clear understanding of what the client is looking for. It’s amazing to see what can be accomplished when everyone is on the same page!
LeaseLabs: Being that there are so many moving parts to projects, how do you keep such a firm grasp on all of your accounts?
Gabriela: I’ve always been highly organized. I used to get teased by friends in elementary school because I had the most perfectly written out notes for tests and would color code everything! I have lists to organize my other lists, I have always been a planner, it’s something that just comes naturally to me.
And I think it really helps that I love to talk! I like hearing input from clients, designers, creative, marketing, everyone! As much as I love to talk, listening is key too. I like that I get to be creative and find ways to present new ideas and ways to problem solve. That’s the thing that I love about this job, I always have new technologies that I get to work with. It’s very exciting...I just got off topic didn’t I, see I love to talk!
LeaseLabs: What are some of your favorite projects that you’ve worked on in your past year and a half with LeaseLabs?
Gabriela: The student housing websites that we’ve designed for University Student Living - The Next Apartments have been amazing to work on. We’re utilizing a lot of great new techniques and a folding layout design that is really seamless. Being able to work with all of these new features and in a new market has been a fun change of pace. Also, a lot of the student housing communities have a large international student base, so utilizing my degree in International Relations has been a great asset with a lot of the details.
LeaseLabs: We’ve heard that you had a touch of wanderlust, is there any truth to the rumor?
Gabriela: Why yes there is! I have actually studied abroad and traveled around much of the world. I’ve traveled throughout South America, Europe, the Middle East and Mexico. I also speak 3 languages and am working on planning out my next trip, it’s going to be a whirlwind 2 week trip to Cancun and Cabo San Lucas with my best friend. After we wrap up that adventure, it’s time to start planning my trip to Thailand!
LeaseLabs: Aside from jet setting around the globe in your free time, do you have any hobbies?
Gabriela: Yes, I love to exercise and am at the gym a lot. I take any class that’s offered, I love yoga and hiking too! I’m a big movie buff and have some pretty mean dance moves that I’ll bust out at the holiday party this year!
I’m also from a very close knit family and spend a lot of time hanging out with my family and friends.
LeaseLabs: Do you have any fun facts about yourself that you’d like to share with the world?
Gabriela: I am a super speedy typer. I’ve been told that I should be a court reporter and even won a typing speed contest when I was just 10!
LeaseLabs: And the final question, what drew you to LeaseLabs?
Definitely the culture! I’ve worked in agencies before that were more interested in talking about it than being about it. I’ve made so many new friends here with clients and our internal teams. I love that the company is growing so quickly and the new opportunities that are on the horizon for everyone. It’s a really exciting place to get to innovate and become more of a tech junkie at, it’s an amazing vibe!
